Building Handyman/ Caretaker

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a handyman based on Harvest Road, Rowley Regis.

Working Hours : 18.5 hours per week.
Location: Rowley Regis B65
Pay rate: £12.85

Will include working alternate weekends and bank holidays on a rota pattern.

You must show a willingness to take part in any training relevant to the role and the service area. You must also hold a driver’s licence.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the role.

You will be required to undertake general handyperson/caretaker duties within the establishment to maintain the fabric and fittings, simple maintenance and repair work of the building.

Your role will include:

• Undertaking minor repairs / decoration.
• Undertaking general handyperson duties in community settings (ifrequired)

• Responsible for reporting breakages/major repairs.
• Simple maintenance and operation of heating system, air conditioning and water systems.

• Other general handyperson duties.
• Driving duties, when appropriate.
• Maintaining stores.
• Ensuring security of the building.
